Our story

In 2000, International Direct Group (IDG) opened as a factory-based private label sportswear manufacturer for our factory in Kunshan, China. Since its launch, IDG has evolved with the needs of the market becoming a global manufacturer, wholesale marketer and a direct-to-consumer online retailer of both private label and branded apparel. Our customers can be found in every major channel of retail distribution, including department stores, mass merchants, national chains, specialty stores, catalogs and online retailers.

IDG’s diversity in product classifications, designs, consumers and volume in combination with our experienced sales team and logistical abilities allow us to be a valuable partner for our customers. With international manufacturing and sourcing operations, IDG is able to offer our retail partners a wide range of products and valuable services to suit their individual needs.

Production

IDG is a factory-based sportswear manufacturer for our production facility in Kunshan, China – Hoza International. Our office and factory in Kunshan, China also oversees our global sourcing and manufacturing operations with additional offices and factories within China, Vietnam and Bangladesh. IDG also has extensive manufacturing operations in India. We use Gold WRAP certified factories or facilities to ensure our manufacturing practices meet industry standards.

Sourcing and Development

All customers needs are different and we present options and services tailored to each unique situation. We source raw materials and components from our global supply network for the best quality and pricing. As often as possible, IDG uses natural raw materials in the making of our fabrics that follow the below certified requirements:

  • GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standards) – For the processing of fibers from certified organic agriculture.

  • OEKO-TEX Standard 100 – Testing for harmful substances in fabrics and materials.

 

Logistics

We are about more than just moving product from one place to another. Our global freight management offers international freight services including procurement of international freight, freight consolidation and forwarding, origin and destination cross-border logistics services, distribution center management, and domestic transportation. We operate our own distribution center which is exclusive to IDG, located in Paramount, CA.
